This policy explains how Wearcan handles information on wearcan.com. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to support@wearcan.com.

What you share

The style quiz asks for your country, age group, height, weight, clothing and shoe sizes, optional brand reference, build, fit preferences, occasions, season and budget. Please do not include medical information, identification documents or information about other people.

Your email is used to verify account access. When you consent and create your first guide, we create a persistent customer identifier before asking for email. We privately retain the submitted original photo, generated results, guide and submitted quiz-answer versions. Verifying an email attaches the same customer record and its existing history to your account. We do not ask for a birth date or precise location. The country suggestion uses the country associated with your network connection and can be corrected.

Before you save

Quiz answers are kept in your current tab’s session storage. Drafts expire after 24 hours; Clearing a local draft does not delete information already submitted to the service. A selected photo stays in browser memory until you request an AI outfit preview or verify your email and save a profile. Reloading requires selecting it again. We resize and re-encode photos in your browser to remove embedded metadata such as GPS coordinates before upload.

How we use information

We use submitted information to maintain your style profile, authenticate your account, provide support, secure the service and, when available and disclosed, produce styling suggestions. Measurements come from your answers; we do not determine exact sizes from a photo or use face recognition to identify you among other people.

When you explicitly agree and request an outfit preview, we send your resized photo, chosen outfit, fit, season and exclusions to OpenAI for image editing. We do not send your email, exact sizes or payment details with that request. Originals and generated results are stored privately so authorized access, guide history and generation accounting can be maintained. Reloading may clear your local selection without deleting these server records. Uploading a photo does not authorize public examples or advertising. This release supports Paddle sandbox checkout testing only, with no real charges. Live purchases are not enabled. Sandbox test credits can be used for image edits only when that capability is enabled and you confirm the selected-item credit total.

Service providers

Vercel hosts the website and processes technical request information such as IP addresses and browser details. Supabase provides authentication, a US East database and private photo storage. MailerSend is configured to deliver verification emails. Email and generation features are available only when their service connections are enabled. Paddle processes sandbox checkout information; never enter real payment details into a test checkout. Providers may process technical and security records according to their retention practices.

Support messages are delivered to Wearcan’s support team through its email providers. Include only information needed to resolve the issue, never passwords or verification codes. We may disclose information when required by law or to investigate abuse and protect users.

OpenAI processes photo-editing requests under its API data policies. API content is not used for training by default; abuse-monitoring records may be retained for up to 30 days, with exceptions described in OpenAI’s data controls. To limit misuse and generation costs, we keep request identifiers, status and a daily keyed hash of the network address. These short-lived rate-limit records contain no photo or prompt and are removed on subsequent requests after two days. Separately, we retain persistent customer IDs before registration, registration/email verification state and dates, submitted quiz-answer versions, photo-version identifiers, funnel events, generation attempts, provider request IDs, token usage and estimated API costs in private operations records. Authorized staff can review these records, view private original/result photos through restricted links, reconcile costs and investigate failures. Image files are stored separately from cost rows. Accounting metadata remains available for cost reconciliation and support; account deletion removes its email address while preserving pseudonymous cost records. Contact support to request access or discuss deletion of these records. Vercel may retain separate technical logs.

Photo access and retention

Saved profile photos, guide originals and generated results are stored privately. Customer access requires the owning guest session or verified account; registration preserves the same customer identity and history. Leaving or reloading can clear browser copies without deleting stored guide photos. Short-lived signed links display private images. Authorized service administrators may access information when needed to operate the service or address a support or security issue.

Saved profiles remain until you remove them or request deletion. The current My profile deletion control removes the legacy saved profile and its profile-photo bucket objects only. It does not remove guide originals, generated results, guide history or accounting records. Contact support to request deletion of guides, their photos/results, or the full sign-in account; we will verify ownership. Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove provider backups or records retained for security or legal obligations; we can explain applicable limits when responding.

Optional analytics and essential storage

Google Analytics loads only after you choose “Allow analytics”. We do not enable Google signals or advertising personalization, or send your photo, sizes or quiz answers as Analytics events. Analytics is excluded from quiz and account pages. Query parameters are excluded from the initial page URL sent by our tag.

Your analytics choice is saved in local storage. An essential HTTP-only guest-session cookie connects your customer ID and guides before login. Authentication also stores session tokens so you can stay signed in. Registering claims eligible guest records for the verified account without replacing the customer ID. Account and draft storage are separate from optional analytics. Reset your choice below to remove this site’s Google Analytics cookies and choose again.

Your choices

You can correct answers, delete the legacy profile using its existing control, decline analytics, or contact support to request access, correction, deletion of guide photos/results or full account deletion. We may verify account ownership. Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live. We do not sell your profile or photos or share them for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Adults only

Wearcan is intended for people aged 18 or older. Do not submit information or photos of children. If you believe a child submitted information, contact support so we can investigate and remove it.

Changes

We will update this page as practices change. Material changes to photo processing will be explained before those features are used. The date above identifies the current version.
